NYDA Deputy Chairperson, Bavelile Hlongwa was part of the BMF’s ‘Black Youth Empowerment and Skills Development’ Summit which took place on Saturday, 07 October 2017 at Wits University.
The session was convened under the theme, “Exploring Innovative ways to empower and develop black youth to drive the required skills set for South Africa’s transformation, Economic Growth and 4th Industrialisation.”
As such, the Summit also focused on the role of corporates in implementing youth empowerment initiatives, to ensure adequate training and capacitation of black youth in preparing for 4th Industrialisation.
